Comsys Telecom & Media continues to expand and has decided to open an office in Semarang Indonesia. Comsys scheduled to open the new office in the beginning of 2013. The new office and local team will be managed by Sander Hamel. Sander Hamel is currently a Senior Unix Engineer at Comsys and working at Comsys for around 5 years.

Marc Naayer, Manager Support at Comsys says, “If the number of clients keeps increasing like it did this year Comsys needs to expand the support in order to at least maintain the Quality of service. Combining this with a support department in another time zone is an absolute advantage in our goal to further improve the quality of support for Comsys and its clients”.

In the beginning the team will exist of Unix engineers to deliver remote support to our customers in that region including Australia and New Zealand. Besides delivering support to the region, the team will also assist in remote installations of new software at our customers around the globe. Working across multiple time zones is a big advantage for the night jobs which are currently done from within Europe. We will be able to do this in Indonesia during daytime while Europe is sleeping.

Sander Hamel, Senior Unix Engineer at Comsys says “I am convinced that opening a branch office in Semarang will allow us to expand our support team and increase our service performance by hiring the best people and train them well”.
